JOB TITLE: Senior Analytics Manager

STATUS: Regular Full-time, Exempt


REPORTS TO: Director of Analytics, West

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to manage analytic requests and to provide for the implementation of sales and category analysis to maximize the growth and profitability of our clients as it pertains to the natural grocery channel. Additionally, they will assist in the continued growth of the sales analyst team and help in the evaluation of refining the report generation process.


  • Manage data requests as they pertain to the natural grocery channel
  • Collaborate to provide category insights and recommendations to customers
  • Leading and presenting projects around product, placement, promotion and pricing
  • Train sales analyst staff in all aspects of retail grocery analytics, insights, metrics & best practices
  • Establish and maintain a partnership with our business managers and clients to develop strategic objectives and goals for categories within grocery
  • Analyze and connect data sources such as portals and syndicated data to excel and PowerBI
  • Identify scope, design and coordinate the execution of projects in support of business initiatives
  • Provide thought leadership, implementing natural curiosity and new approaches to analyzing data and consumer behavior
  • Transform large, complex data sets into pragmatic, actionable insights
  • Develop written reports and presentations of results, including analysis, conclusion and recommend actions
  • Manage timelines, projects and participants in various projects

  • Working knowledge of WFM Portal, Sprouts Portal, and Nielsen
  • Ability and flexibility to work closely with a team

  • Must have prior work experience in data analysis and systems
  • Strong computer skills; excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with understanding of PowerBI
  • Excellent written, verbal and people skills with the ability to create and deliver effective, persuasive presentations to meet company objectives


  • 1-3 years of experience.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however commensurate business experience will be considered as well as formal education.
